Orion was engaged by Bermello Ajamil & Partners to do a comprehensive peer review of the Port Everglades Turning Notch project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The scope encompassed evaluating the design concept, project schedule, construction cost estimate, and excavation alternatives. The project itself entailed substantial construction elements, including the installation of 3,183lf of new deep-water bulkhead and fenders, 990lf of toe wall, and 1,600lf of an Environmentally Friendly Bulkhead.
